My friends and I made this short film for CMF. This is probably the most difficult, and most fun shoot that I've done. It was really hard getting people to show up and to get all the shots I needed. But it's really dissapointing because I didn't get to include about 30% of the shots that I wanted for the final version. I mean, this time I had a script and a production schedule, call sheet, and all that shit. But I had to edit everything at the last minute, so the ending came out....not as planned, lol. To make matters worse, I never got an opportunity to back up all the footage we shot, so basically it's all be wiped from the equipment CMF gave us. Pretty depressing. But I was able to salvage the finished movie, as well as some other clips from it. This movie was shot on an HD Panasonic camera, so it's fairly high quality. I had an awesome actress as the lead, she's seriously incredible. My friends are incredible, for letting me shoot in their rooms and drive them insane, lol. People I didn't even know that well helped me out more than I could have hoped for, so I'm really happy about this production as a whole, despite the loss of the footage. Also I want to thank Ray for basically being my right-hand man the whole time. He was the Production Manager, Production Assistant, Master Grip, Gaffer, and Diversity Consultant, in addition to acting in the blasted movie. So yeah, he's great. The story is about Rachael, a non-traditional student who's recently returned to college after suffering a psychotic episode. To make matters worse, she has almost no luck with men, even after trying online dating. It seems she has a nasty habit of killing them....
